About the Book:
A beautiful blanket of snow may cover the quaint town of Deep Haven each winter, but it can’t quite hide the wreckage of Noelle and Eli Hueston’s marriage. After twenty-five years, they’re contemplating divorce . . . just as soon as their youngest son graduates from high school. But then an accident erases part of Noelle's memory. Though her other injuries are minor, she doesn’t remember Eli, their children, or the tragedy that has ripped their family apart. What’s more, Noelle is shocked that her life has turned out nothing like she dreamed it would. As she tries to regain her memory and slowly steps into her role as a wife and mother, Eli helps her readjust to daily life with sometimes-hilarious, sometimes-heartwarming results. But can she fall in love again with a man she can’t remember? Will their secrets destroy them . . . or has erasing the past given them a chance for a future?
My Take:
What would happen if the last 25 years were suddenly erased from your life? This book is raw emotion throughout the entire book. There is so much happening in the book that it actually took me longer to read than usual and deals with some very serious subjects, but it reads very easily and lets one focus more on the heart of the subject than just reading words. I found myself returning to the story and trying to figure out my reactions if the same thing had happened, and what do I want back from my youth that I had given up. I didn't realize this w as part of a series when I picked it from the tour, but I was not lost...all of the novels in this series can be a standalone. I probably will go back and read some of them, just to find out more about this small town!
Recommendation:
I would absolutely add this to your To Be Read Pile. I think this would also be a great book for a group book discussion club to talk about. This book will make you laugh, cry, think, become prepared for the unthinkable and so much more.

Jacque, I love the layout and color! I really like how you set up the beginning of your blog. Very nice. I haven't read any of this series so do not know anything about Deep Haven. Was wondering if friends come alongside and help them in their struggles. I would like to read the Shadow of Your Smile.
